Happy November, friends! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week! Can you believe the holiday season is already here? I swear the months are just flying by! We have some exciting stuff coming up this month, so we are all super excited about crossing the good old family holiday photo off the list. This year we opted to head north to Payson and shoot our photos in the forest behind our family cabin. You can imagine my excitement when I found Bobbie Lyons with Snap Happy Photography based out of Payson! Not only did I fall in love with her style, she was wonderful to work with and delivered a huge variety of photos for us to choose from including color and black and white versions which I absolutely LOVE!
Yes, we happen to have a cabin and forest to shoot in but Bobbie has a variety of gorgeous mountain locations to choose from. From the cutest little red barn or the stunning views of the rim, you just let her know what you want and she will suggest the perfect spot. See some of her other amazing locations below!
Are you a procrastinator? No worries… Bobbie still has a few openings in November, just for THIS blog readers! In fact, if you mention that you found her through this blog post, she will take $25 off the regular session fee!
a little bit about Bobbie in her own words:
I’m a wife to an amazing man and a mother to a pretty cool little kid and one little fur-baby! I started my photography journey pretty young. Black and white images always caught my eye, and they still stop me in my tracks. I could stare at a good black and white photo for the longest – just looking at the details and imaging the story it was trying to tell me. In high school I studied black and white film photography and started experimenting, mostly of landscapes and unique still life images. Once I started portrait photography I realized how amazing images can be when you set out to capture emotions rather than just faces.
I have been photographing weddings & families now for over 10 years! I can truly say I absolutely love it!
