The Greater Arizona Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association is hosting their annual foodie fundraiser, Taste of the Town 2018 in less than two weeks and you can still get tickets!
Taste of the Town is one of the signature charitable events of the Valley and the perfect way to get out and enjoy a night under the stars in the cooler weather that is just around the corner. The event showcases signature dishes from some of the finest restaurants in the valley, complimented by fine wine and premium beer. Attendees will enjoy live music throughout the evening and bidding in a first class silent auction. The captivating Scottsdale Quarter sets the stage for a night of sophistication and celebration on Friday, October 12. Some of my favorite restaurants that are in the line up this year include ZinBurger, Frost Gelato, The Vig, Snooze, and OHSO. There’s something for everyone at this culinary paradise! Grab your girlfriends or pick outa date, because Taste of the Town is one event you want to get on your calendar right now!
Proceeds from Taste of the Town will benefit more than 2,500 Arizona families affected by muscle disease registered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Join us for a fun-filled evening and help us to assist the families affected by this disease in the local community. Families are at the heart of MDA’s mission. A caring and concerned group of families started MDA in 1950, and continue to relentlessly pursue their promise to free families from the life-threatening effects of muscular dystrophy and muscle-debilitating diseases today. Locally, they provide services and support such as state of the art care centers, research grants, equipment loan program, and MDA Summer Camp to over 2,600 clients and their families.
