If you’re not in the holiday spirit yet- this weekend is your chance! From Cookies with Claus to Gingerbread houses at Lon’s , I’m sharing my favorite things to do to celebrate the season this week!
Cookies With Claus
At Cookies with Claus, children can roll up their sleeves and, with a little help from the Resort’s pastry team, create their own cookies, which are baked in-house and packaged to take home. The Saturday morning event also will feature storytelling by Santa Claus (and photos with Santa), gingerbread decorating and holiday ornament decorating.
While children enjoy the festive activities, adults can indulge in a gourmet hot cocoa and coffee bar. Breakfast items, specialty coffees, Mimosas, Bloody Mary cocktails and other adult beverages will be available for purchase.
Cookies will Claus will be offered from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on December 16 and 23, 2017. The event is $45 per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. For reservations, call 480 513 5029.

Taking care of your mind and your body is vital to achieving both personal and professional success. Sick of feeling run down, tired and mentally exhausted, let the experts at Onyx Body Shaping & Slim Spa help. I recently went in for a neuromuscular stimulation treatment that utilized detoxification, circulation and muscle rehab. I felt refreshed, energized, and my chronic back pain was improved after just 1 session!

Voila French Bistro Bûche de Noël
Voila is offering a traditional European holiday dessert this season. The Bûche de Noël, also known as a Yule Log, is a rolled sponge cake with a duo of white and chocolate mousse that is shaped and decorated to look like a log including meringue “mushrooms”! The festive dessert is a French tradition that Chef Jean-Christophe Gros wants to share with his American guests.
This show-stopping, delicious dessert is available for pick-up to enjoy at home with friends and family. Voila is offering two sizes: a smaller size that will serve 4 people for $32, and a larger size that will serve 6-8 people for $48. The cake must be pre-ordered 48 hours in advance of pick up and chef Gros will be making each fresh from scratch using the highest quality European ingredients.
