I’m sharing the easiest and most impressive pies with you all today in honor of National Pie Day! I make a bunch of these chocolate marshmallow pies at Christmas time and deliver them to my clients, neighbors, and friends and people always ask for the recipe. It’s so darn easy too!! As far as savory pies go- I’m turning to my friends at Williams Sonoma and their award winning chicken pot pie recipe below.
No Bake Chocolate Pie
READY IN: 20mins
1 prepared graham cracker crust (or use a regular baked pie crust from the freezer like I did!)
1⁄2 cup milk
16 large marshmallows
1 (8 ounce) hershey chocolate bars with almonds, chopped – tip: I usually use 2 bars or 1 bar of dark chocolate!
1 cup whipping cream (if you’re feeling lazy buy a tub of cool whip!)
*sometimes I stir a few tablespoons of Baileys into this when folding in the whip cream at the end!
Heat milk and marshmallows in top of a double boiler.
Add Hershey bar and stir until melted and combined.
Allow to cool to room temperature.
Whip cream until stiff.
Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture and pour into the graham cracker crust.
Chill at least one hour or until firm.
