Christmas is right around the corner and I’m a total sucker for a beautiful mantel! There’s no better time to give your fireplace a makeover than the holidays and ya’ll know I love a good excuse to find new shops on ETSY. I’m sharing a few of my favorite pieces I found this year starting with these custom stockings from PrettiesPlease ! Pretties Please specializes in Christmas Stockings, tree skirts, children’s outfits, digital designs, and accessories but you better order fast to ensure your personalized holiday designs arrive before the big man shimmies down your chimney. Now that we’ve tackled the cutest stockings in the world, lets talk about hanging them! You know any old stocking hook wouldn’t do in my house so I was pretty thrilled to find these stocking holders from RedHeartCreations. This rustic stocking holder makes a beautiful accent to your holiday mantle and is so durable so you’re free to stuff your stockings to the brim! They’re made from solid wood and stained a dark brown and each is then personalized with your choice of names cut from separate wood to give them a 3-D effect. You can even pick the adorable bow of your choice! (P.S. For less than $17 each, these would make fab holiday hostess with the mostess gifts!) Shop them here
Of course what’s a mantle without some festive garland? These are two of my favorites…
First the burlap Christmas tree one from FancyFlamingo is too cute for words but I’ll try to find a few to express my love for this company! Not only do the Fancy Famingo banners make perfect fireplace accents, they are ideal for photo shoots! For all you Arizonans- you must check out her cactus banner- it’s kind of perfection! I wish I had known about these for my bridal and baby showers. Everything Jackie at Fancy Flamingo hand makes is totally customizable and can be delivered in time for the holidays if you order ASAP.
My other go-to for all things “hanging” is NocturnalBlue.
I’m totally obsessed with the super trendy soft wool pom pom garland that is super trendy right now! Perfect for your Christmas tree, a fireplace, a wall or paired with any other decorations you have, such as a branch wreath. These fun balls are at the top of my Christmas decor list for 2017 and I may just keep them out through Valentines Day too.) Even though we live in a big city, I like to bring a little rustic chic statement to our house this time of year and these are perfect for that. Each garland is carefully handcrafted with soft wool beads and bamboo cord. The ends are fully finished with a tiny golden keychain ring, preventing the beads from slipping off and giving a nice touch of glow witch makes for super easy hanging! Shop them HERE in a variety of colors.
As a kid, one of my fondest December memories was having an advent calendar. Every day of December I would wake up excited to see what little treasure was left overnight. Today, it’s one of my favorite things to do with my little guy! I’m sharing a few of my favorite advent calendars with you today including a calendar for dogs that I stuff with dog treats daily, one with a tree and handmade Velcro ornaments, and one with big enough pockets to step up my advent calendar “goodies” game. Can you say “thank goodness for the Target dollar bin?!” I shop for this thing all year long!
This one fron HusDesigns has the BEST pockets to fill! The natural linen advent calendar will brighten your December as you count down to Christmas. You can fill the pockets with treats, small gifts, holiday notes, or ornaments to hang. I love that this calendar comes with 2 wooden rods at the top and bottom for hanging and a red ribbon so you may hang it up on a door or wall. Click here to order in time for the first day of December!
For the doggy calendar pictured below from VermontChristmas, click HERE. Our pups waistline might not appreciate it but we love this tradition and try to make up for the additional treats in January! Plus this calendar is less than $30 which makes a great gift for animal lovers! The Vermont Christmas folks make this adorable fabric tree and puffy ornaments too!
One more thing I MUST mention….these outdoor christmas lights from AJSaleBarn! Of course I put them out the day after Halloween and we’ve already had a few neighbors ask where to get them. P.S. Don’t judge my dying bush – our landscaper is on top of it. I went with traditional colors but you can request a custom palette if you have an untraditional color scheme. Each light comes equipped with a wooden stake and the set of 5 is ready to display right out of the box. However, if you would prefer a metal bracket mount on the back then let the folks at AJ Sale Barn know and they are happy to customize. Each item is painted with acrylic paint and treated with a gloss finish to make sure it holds up to the outdoor elements (and sprinklers!)
The Christmas Light measures 16×7.5in. Shop them HERE
I think that’s all for now but I’m just getting started on holiday decorating so stay tuned for a few more of my favorite items as I find them! xoxo
