I’m giving away 2 pairs of tickets to Front Porch Pickins Vintage & Handmade Market and the BEST news is they have teamed up with Johnjay Van Es and his LoveUp Foundation to help find homeless dogs find a home for the holidays! Shopping, Food Trucks, Family Fun, and MORE!
Set for 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17 and 18 at the racetrack located at 1501 W Bell Road, Phoenix, Front Porch Pickins presents the perfect opportunity to get a little holiday shopping done while supporting some tremendously talented local artisans and worthy organizations in the process. Attendees can anticipate more than 100 unique vendors onsite offering up a unique blend of clothing, furniture, accessories, home décor and more, and many area food trucks have also signed on for the occasion.
For the first time, #LOVEPUP, an organization that seeks to find forever homes for pooches who’ve been abused or abandoned, will also be a part of the festivities, and Maricopa County Animal Care & Control will also be onsite with adoptable dogs. Guests are welcome to bring leashed pets, and pooches can pose for photos with pinup models in exchange for their owners making #LOVEPUP donations.
As far as shopping opportunities, think Grasshopper Hill Design, which creates custom, cartoon-like vintage graphics, and Triple Arrow Creations, a purveyor of trendy, urban-chic handcrafted clothing for children. Also sharing their wares will be Papi’s Illuminations, which makes one-of-a-kind vintage light fixtures from farming equipment, among other offerings, and Devoted to Junk, which deals restyled and reclaimed furniture and vintage home décor.
