Hey, do you need a good excuse to drink a few glasses of wine and beer on a Friday night with local celebrities? I have the best excuse for you plus you can help save homeless animals lives in the valley. It doesn’t get much better than that right? Join the Arizona Animal Welfare League and Facings of America on Friday, February 24th for an animal welfare benefit that is fit for the dogs (and humans of course!) The Wine for Woofs and Beer for Barks event held at the Facings of America showroom in Scottsdale will be the place to sip and swirl hand (or paw) picked beverages paired with tasty treats and tidbits. Plus, my friend and local radio personality John Jay Van Es will be a designer dog house judge for the evening and he is all sorts of unfiltered fun. One of my favorite highlights at this party is the designer dog house contest. You should see some of these extreme dog houses hand crafted and created by local artists and designers-I swear most of these are nicer than my first house! In addition to the dog house showcase there will be a silent auction, live music, photo booth, and raffle prizes. I hope to see you at Wine for Woofs and Beer for Barks supporting such a worthy cause. Tickets are only $50 per person or $90 per couple when purchased in advanced so there’s no reason not to visit the website below and support Arizona’s first no kill animal shelter.
