It’s under 100 degrees outside and the Fall season is in full swing in Arizona so you know what that means- we’re breaking out the Burberry scarves and Hunter boots, ordering HOT Pumpkin spice lattes, and searching for the BEST pumpkin patch in town. Luckily for you, I’ve taken care of the last item on that Fall to do list! McDonalds Ranch located in north Scottsdale is the perfect spot to spend a day of Fall fun for kids (and grownups) of all ages. McDonalds ranch offer a petting zoo, a hay maze, panning for gold, western games, and of course the roundtrip hayride out to the pumpkin patch where you can pick the perfect pumpkin. On a recent trip my little guy picked out a pumpkin that weighed more than him but luckily the folks at McDonald’s Ranch offer pumpkins of all sizes (and crazy shapes) to choose from. Tips: Bring a little cash to buy food at the petting zoo and take a pony ride, wear closed toe shoes (it’s dusty!), wear a hat and sunscreen, and bring a wagon or a stroller to haul your all your little pumpkins around! Also, I suggest trying to go as early as possible- the ranch can get warm!
