This past weekend I had the pleasure of stepping back in time and into what felt like a front window at Tiffany and Co. With that being said, I had the privilege of attending the Tiffany’s themed wine country brunch put on by the Scottsdale League for the Arts and Scottsdale Culinary festival folks and we all know they can throw one hell of a party. The day started with a mimosa bar- I could tell this was my kind of event already. After a cocktail reception complete with silent auction and photo booth, we made our way into the ballroom for brunch. The chandeliers in the ballroom at The Camby hotel were stunning and the Tiffany Blue and pearl themed decor was perfection. Speaking of perfection, let’s talk about the food. The elegant buffet style brunch featured food from various local restaurant including The Herb Box, Arcadia Farms, The Camby, Yancey’s Fancy, and Benedict’s Catering to name a few. I can’t decide if the Nutella beignets or the roasted sweet potato hash were my favorite. Honestly, I wish my stomach was bigger to eat all the delicious items offered. Now let’s talk about the fashion. There were so many black dresses, polished strands of pearls, long silky gloves and glitzy tiaras, you might have thought you died and gone to a much more elegant and well styled version of Toddlers and Tiaras for a moment, only to realize you were at one of the best new charity events on the AZ Social circuit. The event overall can be summed up by three of my favorite words: Classy, Sparkly, and Indulgent. I can’t wait until this party happens again next year, it has defiantly made my list of must attend events in town!
