What goes together better than tipsy moms enjoying a night out and melt in your mouth bruschetta?? I don’t know about you but I could live off of crusty fluffy bread, chunks and spreads of aged cheeses, and a hefty pour of wine. Lucky, Sorso Wine Room is within 15 minutes of my house and can provide all of the things I just listed. Not to mention, it makes the perfect backdrop for a mom’s night out, date night, or private event. Their menu is extensive featuring salads, sandwiches, and a handful of other goodies but I never get past the bruschetta so let’s talk about my favorite options and find out why I think Sorso wears the BEST BRUSCHETTA in Scottsdale crown.
Green apple/Brie/Caramel- the perfect tart/sweet combo. I may or may not have licked the caramel off the plate. (My server, Matt promised he wouldn’t judge)
Brie/Balsamic/Fresh Strawberry- If you like tangy balsamic vinegar you will like this combination and thankfully I love it, the tangier the better. Slightly adventurous… consider yourself a foodie if you indulge in this option.
Smoked Salmon/Mascarpone/Arugula- maybe the all time favorite…Except the one time Sorso offered a specialty option around the holidays that included smoked salmon and candied orange peel. (I would LOVE to see that one permanently on the menu! hint hint!)
Pancetta/Goat Cheese/Dates- the crispy salty pancetta combined with the sweet dates is heavenly. This is the most popular according to reviews.
If you haven’t been to Sorso at Scottsdale Quarter, get yourself there before the weather heats up because they have a fabulous patio positioned just right to enjoy the Scottsdale sunsets this Spring!
