If you haven’t been to one of the two Flower Child locations in the valley you’re missing out on some of the tastiest and healthiest food available. Flower Child is restaurant genius Sam Fox’s latest “fast” food adventure featuring a counter where you can order colorful bowls of grains, veggies, and proteins, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and mix and match plates to please even the pickiest of palates.
My go to dish is the gluten free Mac and Cheese. The creamy to savory ratio is spot on and it’s delicious on it’s own but even better when you pair it with savory and sweet chili roasted sweet potatoes and the avocado/golden beet salad. (My mouth is watering as I write this post.) The portions are the perfect size but if you’re like my husband, you leave wanting a huge cheeseburger so take that into consideration when you choose your date for Flower Child. My 15 month old approves of the mac and cheese also but is more interested in the 8 variations of tea and flavored lemonades that change daily and I can’t blame him, yesterday they had apple cranberry spice lemonade that was to die for!
